Abstract: Taking agricultural equipment industry in Weifang City, Shandong Province, as study subject, current status, existing challenges, and optimization pathways have been systematically analyzed regarding integration development of agricultural equipment scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation．Study has found that Weifang City has established a complete agricultural equipment industrial chain through measures such as implementing the "chain leader system" for industrial development mechanism, building Weilfang-Linyi-Rizhao Intelligent Agricultural Machinery Equipment Cluster, and creating national-level innovation platforms．It has initially formed a favorable pattern for integrated development of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation．However, there have been developmental shortcomings in areas such as high-end equipment, core and key technologies, and innovation systems．In particular, issues including "bottlenecks" in core technologies, insufficient high-end talent, and low industrial chain coordination have been particularly prominent．Based on these identified shortcomings, suggestions have been put forward to further strengthen top-level design, increase investment in technological innovation and research outcomes dissemination, and attract and cultivate high-level talents, aiming to facilitate integrated development of scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation．These recommendations have provided theoretical support and practical guidance for advancing Weifang City's agricultural equipment industry toward high-end, intelligent, and green development．
