Abstract: The 15th Five-Year Plan period is a critical stage for China to promote comprehensively rural revitalization and accelerate building up China's strength in agriculture．As an important carrier for innovation and dissemination of agricultural science and technology knowledge, agricultural engineering journals face a strategic opportunity to transform from a platform for publishing academic achievements into a knowledge hub．Publishing organizations, regional distribution, founding histories, publication cycles, and inclusion in core journal lists of China's agricultural engineering journals have been systematically analyzed．It has been proposed that agricultural engineering journals should build a collaborative knowledge service network integrating industry-university-research-application, develop classified development pathways targeting different journal types and functional positioning; empower technology diffusion through digitalization and establish vertical knowledge service platforms; strengthen policy alignment and decision-making advisory services to meet national strategic needs; and improve internationalization levels and enhance industrial competitiveness．These measures will provide strong support for developing new quality productive forces in agriculture, ensuring national food security, and promoting construction of a agricultural powerhouse nation．
