Abstract: Cultivated land is an important resource for human survival，quality investigation of cultivated land is inevitable demand for cultivated land use.Applications of different remote sensing data including domestic，foreign and hyper spectral remote sensing data in cultivated land quality investigation were summarized.Combination of remote sensing and GIS applications in cultivated land quality investigation were analyzed.Results showed that quality of remote sensing and GIS technology were widely used in cultivated land quality investigation，but domestic satellite data applications were still less.There is a large space for its development in the future.
