Abstract: Source of centralized drinking water is related to drinking water safety of urban and rural residents.Taking water source of Luoma lake in Suqian city as an example，hidden danger of water quality safety caused by passage of roads around the lake in protected area was analyzed，it was planned to build emergency protection projects such as collision barriers，accident diversion tanks，water collection wells，and emergency pools，in order to minimize the impact.The scheme can be used as a reference for emergency protection design of similar water source in other regions.
