Abstract: With reform of China′ s economic and technological system becoming more and more perfect，competition between industries and departments becomes intense，there are also serious challenges in mutagenesis breeding project.Based on concept of mutagenesis breeding and experience of practice，problems and application of mutagenesis in breeding of super-high yield wheat were analyzed，that could provide theoretical reference for promoting development of wheat mutagenesis breeding.
