Abstract: Based on a brief discussion of current situation and main problems of application of small-scale agricultural machinery in China and an analysis of demand for small-scale agricultural machinery in different regions and different types of agricultural production in China，some suggestions were put forward to improve operation efficiency of small agricultural machinery，control energy consumption of small agricultural machinery and strengthen construction of agricultural mechanization service system.It could provide reference for peers.
