Abstract: In order to provide scientific basis for further tapping potential of maize production and improving actual productivity of maize，the climate productivity potential of maize was caiculated using step-by-step correction method recommended by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations（FAO），and evolution of the climate productivity potential of maize and its response characteristics to climate change were analyzed，based on the meteorological data，corresponding yield data and geographic information data of 80 meteorological stations in Heilongjiang province from 1961 to 2017.
