Abstract: Mechanized operation level of each link including cultivation，field management and harvest from aspects of wheat and maize planting were analyzed.Main operation machines and modes were introduced，and some restricting problems and countermeasures in whole process mechanized development at present were put forward.Based on existing planting modes and mechanization level of each link，whole mechanized combination mode of wheat and maize in eastern region of Huanghuaihai plain was put forward，and optimum maize varieties suitable for mechanized harvest in this region were recommended.
