Abstract: Animal husbandry machinery provides strong technical equipment support for the scale，standardization，mechanization，automation and intelligent development of animal husbandry，integration and efficient development of whole industry chain before，during and after production，and effective supply of livestock products.A brief statistics and analysis was made on development status，animal husbandry and application of machinery and equipment in five links of forage harvest，forage operation，forage processing，feeding machinery and collection and processing.In view of problems existing in mechanization of animal husbandry in Beijing，some suggestions for further development of animal husbandry mechanization were put forward.
