Breeding and Cultivation Techniques of High and Stable Yield Maize Variety Sudan 617

A hybrid maize variety Sudan 617 was developed by using HZ14095 as female parent and N182 as male parent.Regional test in 2017—2018 showed that average yield was 10 077 kg/hm2，9.77% higher than the control，yield increasing point reached 93.7%.Production test in 2018 showed that average yield was 9 748.5 kg/hm2，8.8% higher than the control，yield increasing point reached 95.0%.Sudan 617 passed national examination and approval in 2019.It was suitable to be planted in Huanghuaihai summer maize area.
