Analysis of Meteorological Conditions for Experimental Planting of Shangsi Glutinous Rice in Fangcheng District of Fangchenggang City

  • It is an important way to effectively improve land utilization rate to explore planting of Shangsi glutinous rice in Fangcheng District.In order to find meteorological support technology for glutinous rice adaptation, a comparison experiment was carried out in Fangcheng District in different sowing period of glutinous rice, and growth characteristics, yield structure and meteorological conditions of Shangsi glutinous rice were analyzed based on parallel meteorological observation data of test area and origin.Results showed that it was feasible to transplant Shangsi glutinous rice to Fangcheng District and other coastal areas.The main meteorological disasters affecting planting of Shangsi glutinous rice in Fangcheng District were rainstorm, high temperature and typhoon.Temperature difference between day and night and sunshine duration were important meteorological factors determining yield of sweet glutinous rice.Glutinous rice should be planted 3~5 d earlier than hybrid rice in Fangcheng District.
