Mechanized Production Mode of Quinoa in Qaidam Basin

In order to study suitable mechanized production mode of quinoa in Qaidam Basin, comparative tests were carried out on three production modes: black film covered planting, non film covered planting with mechanical weeding, and non film covered planting with artificial weeding． Their operation effects, production costs, agronomic characters and yields were compared． Results showed that mode of planting quinoa covered with black film could inhibit weeds, save costs and increase yield, while mode of non film covered planting with mechanical weeding could significantly save costs．
