Design of Monitoring System for Raw Milk Rapid Cooling Device

  • In order to obtain parameters such as temperature and flow rate in cooling process of raw milk quickly and accurately, a monitoring system for rapid cooling device of raw milk was designed. Pt100 thermal resistance and Altai DAM-3047N module were used to measure temperature of inlet and outlet of cooling water and raw milk in heat exchanger, an intelligent turbine flow sensor was used to monitor instantaneous flow rate and cumulative flow rate of raw milk. MCGS was used to develop monitoring software and establish communication with thermal resistance module and flow sensor through Modbus RTU protocol to realize real-time monitoring, data storage and alarm information output of relevant parameters of raw milk cooling process. Results showed that the system has been running stably and could provide a basis for efficient production of raw milk.
