Greenhouse Gas Emission Characteristics and Emission Reduction Path of Animal Husbandry

  • Amount of greenhouse gases produced in process of animal husbandry is large, and it is one of main emission sources of agricultural greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gas emissions from animal husbandry are mainly distributed in breeding link, livestock product processing link, manure treatment link, feed processing link, etc. Greenhouse gas emission reduction approaches mainly include scientific breeding, manure utilization, clean breeding, etc. Sources and paths of greenhouse gas emission reduction in livestock breeding industry were analyzed to provide technical support for energy conservation, emission reduction and green development of livestock farms.
