Curriculum ideology and politics is a new mode of ideological and political education in colleges and universities．Take a demonstration class of curriculum ideology and politics in engineering drawing as an example to explain section view in method of expressing shape of a machine part．Firstly, overall framework of construction of curriculum ideology and politics in engineering drawing was constructed, ideological and political elements in teaching knowledge points were fully excavated, organic integration mode of knowledge points and ideological and political elements was discussed through case implementation, and teaching effectiveness of curriculum ideology and politics was evaluated through anonymous questionnaire survey of students and classroom feedback from teachers' representatives．Several suggestions were put forward in curriculum ideology and politics construction．
