Major Meteorological Disasters and Preventive Measures of Kiwifruit in Wulian County，Shandong Province

Based on sensitivity of kiwifruit to climate change during its whole growth period, meteorological data and historical meteorological disaster data from National Meteorological Observing Station of Wulian County, Shandong Province were cited, taking external environmental conditions in Wulian County that meet growth needs of kiwifruit into account, characteristics of major meteorological disasters such as freeze injury, high temperature, waterlogging, wind damage and hail occurred in Wulian County since introduction of kiwifruit were analyzed, and corresponding defensive measures were put forward to guide fruit farmers to proactively prevent meteorological disasters, enhance defensive ability of kiwifruit planting against climate change, and improve fruit yield and quality．
