Development Current Situation and Countermeasures of Water Chestnut Harvesting Mechanization

At present, traditional manual operation mode is still used for water chestnut harvesting, which seriously restricts development of water chestnut plantation．Research status, characteristics and existing problems of mechanized water chestnut harvesting technology in China were analyzed, solutions such as optimizing farming mechanism and standardizing planting technology when planting water chestnut, separating upper soil of the fruit and using of plough harvesting tools when collecting water chestnuts, were proposed．Research results could provide solid foundation for realizing mechanized harvest of water chestnut．
