Abstract
Agricultural Product Processing Machinery and Equipment is one of the core courses of Xinjiang Agricultural University in machinery.In view of difficulty of students' learning due to extensive content of course chapters and problem of theory over practice in teaching process, application of project teaching method in the course teaching was practiced and explored.It was proved that project teaching method could effectively optimize course teaching process, fully mobilize students' enthusiasm in whole learning process, help to implement teaching concept of "student-centered", strengthen students' ability to relate theory to practice, effectively improve quality of course teaching, and provide assistance to cultivation of applied talents in agricultural product processing machinery and equipment in Xinjiang.It would help to cultivate applied talents of agricultural processing machinery and equipment in Xinjiang.
