Research Status and Development Trend of Vegetable Grafting Technology

In recent years, China's vegetable production has gradually shifted towards industrialization, specialization, and scale．Problems such as continuous cropping barriers, secondary salinization, soil borne diseases, and soil acidification and hardening are becoming increasingly serious．Grafting can not only maintain performance of scions, but also exert characteristics of rootstocks, improve resistance to disease and stress of vegetable crops, and effectively improve quality and yield of vegetables．Several common vegetable grafting methods were introduced, and development prospects of vegetable grafting technology were analyzed．
