Abstract
At present, cassava mainly relies on manual peeling, which is labor-intensive and inefficient, and can easily cause cassava to spoil.In order to overcome this obstacle, a clamping type cassava peeler was developed by comprehensively considering working principles and structural design of relevant mechanisms, and taking into account characteristics of cassava tubers themselves.Transmission system was designed through design parameters and requirements, a simplified model was established, and force analysis and calculation of clamping mechanism and peeling mechanism were carried out based on relevant theories.At the same time, a static analysis was conducted on key components of peeling machine to ensure that stability and safety of peeling machine meet design requirements.
