Cultivation of Innovative Practice Ability of Students Major in Mechanical Engineering at Agricultural Colleges

Cultivation of college students' innovative practice ability is a systematic project．In order to obtain good effects, knowledge system, innovative practice, teaching mode and resources should be comprehensively constructed．Based on cultivation situation of undergraduates majored in mechanical engineering at Shandong Agricultural University, problems existing in cultivation of students' innovation and practice ability were analyzed, such as lack of agricultural characteristics, disconnection between innovation activities and specialty, disconnection between classroom teaching and practice teaching, etc．So a new teaching model of classroom teaching, network teaching and practice teaching was proposed．By updating teaching content, introducing modern teaching methods and teaching ideas, innovation and entrepreneurship ability of college students could be improved and talents suitable for China's economic development could be cultivated．
