Development Status and Prospect of Hilly and Mountainous Cultivation Equipment

Soil is foundation of agricultural development, and quality of soil directly affects economic benefits of agriculture．Due to influence of terrain, research and development of cultivation equipment in hilly and mountainous areas is slow, and degree of mechanization is low．Mechanization level of cultivation in hilly and mountainous areas seriously restricts development of agriculture in China．Current development status of cultivation equipment in hilly and mountainous areas both domestically and internationally were summarized, including rotary tillers, micro tillers, deep tillers, and deep loosening machines, and development suggestions for their existing problems were proposed．
