Research Progress on Response of Potato to Water and Fertilizer Regulation under Film-mulched Drip Irrigation

  • As the world's fourth largest food crop to ensure national food security, potato has a large demand for water and fertilizer, and water and fertilizer have become an important factor limiting sustainable development of potato.Under film-mulched drip irrigation water and fertilizer regulation technology can achieve water and fertilizer conservation, improve water and fertilizer use efficiency, through reasonable water and fertilizer application.Besides, it can also enhance soil enzyme activity in root layer of crop, and stabilize soil fertility, while achieving high potato yield and quality.A study was conducted to examine effect of film-mulched drip irrigation on potato yield, quality, water and fertilizer usage, and soil enzyme activity in root layer.Objective of this investigation was to offer valuable insights for advancement and implementation of potato water and fertilizer regulation technology.
