Exploration and Practice of Case Base Construction of Engineering Optimization Design Method Course

In order to improve training quality of graduate students majoring in mechanical engineering and cultivate innovative and application-oriented high-quality talents, teaching reform of course of Engineering Optimization Design Methods was carried out．Significance of constructing a case base was explained, and teaching of this case base was analyzed mainly from aspects of its construction content, implementation methods, and implementation effects．A large amount of tedious theoretical knowledge was transformed into rich engineering practice cases．Teaching practice of case base in the past three years has shown that this method not only improved classroom teaching effectiveness and promoted deep cooperation between schools and enterprises, but also enhanced teaching ability of teachers．
