Research Progress on Narrow Row and Dense Planting Delta-row Seeding Technology and Equipment

Narrow row and dense planting mode is advanced planting technology to increase planting density of crops and enhance crop yield, and delta-row planting mode is a planting method to realise narrow row and dense planting mode．At present, mainstream agricultural machinery is generally used in conventional planting mode of single-wide rows and ridges or flat crops, and there are fewer seeding machines for staggered delta-row planting mode in narrow rows and dense planting, especially for high-speed operation（more than 10 km/h）, which, to a certain extent, impedes planting efficiency and popularisation of narrow row and dense planting delta-row planting mode．Basic contents of wide and narrow row delta-row planting pattern were described, seeding equipment used for delta-row planting in China, research progress of universities and institutes, and evaluation indexes used for delta-row planting pattern were discussed and analyzed, and suggestions were made for technical application and promotion of delta-row planting mode．
