Research on agricultural product traceability code coding

Traceability is one of effective means used to ensure quality and safety of agricultural products both domestically and internationally．Design and application of traceability codes are technical foundation for achieving quality and safety traceability．Research and analysis were conducted on traceability codes applied in quality and safety traceability systems of agricultural products in some provinces and cities in China．Based on in-depth research on technical system of the International Goods Coding Association（GS1）, knowledge of agricultural product traceability codes was elaborated in detail from aspects of coding structure and carrier identification, to provide reference for quality and safety traceability of agricultural products．
