Problems and countermeasures of agricultural products quality and safety management in Hainan Province

Based on analysis of current situation of agricultural product quality and safety management in Hainan Province, main problems found included inadequate government supervision, weak self-discipline awareness of enterprises, and low public awareness and participation．A series of measures and suggestions were proposed, aimed at improving government regulatory system, enhancing quality and safety management level of enterprises, and strengthening public awareness and participation．Through joint efforts of government, enterprises, and society, a comprehensive, coordinated, and efficient agricultural product quality and safety management system could be established to promote sustainable and healthy development of agriculture in Hainan Province, ensure food safety, and enhance competitiveness of Hainan's agricultural products in domestic and international markets．
