Current status and key technologies of silage mechanized harvesting

Silage mechanized harvesting can improve silage harvesting efficiency, significantly reduce labor intensity and labor costs, and has achieved greater development in recent years．However, due to late start of research on silage mechanized harvesting technology in China, there is still a big gap compared with foreign developed countries．Based on development status of silage mechanized harvesting technology in China, cutting platform harvesting technology, crop feeding technology, material cutting technology, seed crushing technology, and adaptive throwing and following technology in harvesting process were analyzed and studied, and silage mechanized harvesting technology has been prospected, to provide references for engineers and technicians in this field．
