Design and experiment of rootstock initial cutting mechanism for vegetable automatic grafting machine

  • To ensure precision cutting qualification rate and grafting success rate of a set of 6 plants' synchronous grafting automatic equipment, a rootstock initial cutting mechanism was designed, consisting of guide rails, horizontal cutting tool holders, cylinders, and cutting blades.Initial cutting experiments were conducted on chili and tomato.Results indicated that the highest initial cutting qualification rates for chili and tomato were 100% and 98.33% respectively, with test indicators meeting design requirements.
