Model of interplanting grain and economic crops between rows of young citrus in Baise City

Baise City is a traditional agricultural land and resource-based city with mountainous area, is known as a natural greenhouse, a large granary, a big vegetable garden, and a big orchard．Exploring interplanting grain and economic crops between rows ofyoung citrus can increase planting income, inhibit growth of weeds, reduce occurrence of citrus diseases and insect pests, and improve soil environment of orchards in limited land area．Technical points of interplanting patterns of corn, peanut, pepper, soybean, taro and other crops were summarized and benefit analyses were compared．It was found that interplanting pepper, corn, peanut and taro had higher output value and better economic benefits, which was worthy for large-scale promotion and planting．
