Effects of fertilization strategy on Malus domeri (Bois) Chev. yield and quality

  • Scientific fertilization is an important measure in industrial chain production, directly affecting Malus domeri(Bois)Chev. growth, yield, and quality.Jingxi Malus domeri(Bois)Chev. was used as object, with no fertilization as control.A comparative experiment treated single application of medium trace element fertilizer, bio-bacterial organic fertilizer, and bag-controlled release fertilizer, to evaluate effects of different fertilization strategies, aiming to provide scientific fertilization guidelines for fruit farmers.Analysis of variance showed that three fertilization treatments significantly increased Malus domeri(Bois)Chev. yield, total triterpenoids, and brightness value, while fruit cracking rate was significantly decreased, and fruit nitrogen content was significantly increased.Differences in yield and quality indexes between three treatments and control treatment.Entropy weight DTOPSIS method analysis revealed that bio-bacteria organic fertilizer treatment achieved the best comprehensive effects.Spearman correlation coefficient comprehensive analysis indicated highly significant positive correlation among soluble solids content, nitrogen content, calcium content, phosphorus content, and magnesium content.Fruit cracking rate was negatively correlated with potassium content.Malus domeri(Bois)Chev. quality and yield were effectively improved by applying medium trace element fertilizer, bio-bacterial organic fertilizer, and bag-controlled release fertilizer.Among them, applying 1320 kg/hm2 bio-bacterial organic fertilizer had the best effect.
