Talent training model and practice for agricultural mechinery majors in agricultural colleges under background of emerging engineering

  • Emerging engineering education presents new requirements for applicability, multidisciplinary integration, and comprehensiveness of first-class undergraduate programs in agricultural mechanization and automation(referenced as the agricultural machinery major)at agricultural colleges. To adapt to talent training demands of agricultural machinery program under background of emerging engineering, talent training model has been explored and reformed.Through approaches such as goal-oriented co-system of university-enterprise training programs, reconstruction and optimization of multidisciplinary curriculum integration system, and integrated development of modular practical teaching system, education teaching method and quality monitoring mechanism have been further built, and comprehensive integrated assessment system and evaluation methods have been proposed. This study provides a reference for transformation and upgrading of first-class undergraduate major of agricultural mechanization and automation under emerging engineering background.Preliminary findings have indicated that training model for agricultural machinery majors under emerging engineering education meets market's growing demand for integrated, applied engineering technical professionals.
