Teaching reform exploration in agricultural engineering based on Outstanding Engineer Education and Training Programa case study on Tractor and Automotive Science course

Outstanding Engineer Education and Training Program（abbreviated as Outstanding Program）is a major mission in China's higher education reform and development．Taking a core course on Tractor and Automotive Science in agricultural mechanization and automation major as an example, connection between training philosophy of Outstanding Program and professional curriculum development was explored．To optimize students' knowledge structure and enhance comprehensive qualities, teaching reform for Tractor and Automotive Science course were implemented across four aspects including textbook content, team building, teaching mode, and practical courses．
