Development status，characteristics and challenges of professional villages and towns for rural characteristic industry in China

Villages and towns are an important carrier to promote industrial prosperity and rural revitalization．A comprehensive analytical framework for professional villages and towns development was constructed across five dimensions: scale efficiency, structural business formats, brand competitiveness, joint agricultural benefits, and entity cultivation．Based on national monitoring data of professional villages and towns for rural characteristic industries, current status and characteristics of professional villages and towns for rural characteristic industries were analyzed．Challenges faced by professional villages and towns were explored, and policy suggestions were put forward．
