Effects of Different Factors on Induction Rate of Maize Haploid Breeding

  • Effects of different receptor materials,different inducing lines and different geographical conditions on induction rate of maize haploid breeding were studied.Four different inducing lines were taken as male parents and six kinds of mature maize hybrids were taken as female parents,haploid inductivity of maize was studied in Hainan and Jilin respectively,results showed that induction rate of maize were significantly affected by different receptor materials,different inducing lines and different geographical conditions,induction rate of maize was the highest in Hainan,Xianyu 335 was the receptor material with the highest induction rate,and Jigaoyou 3 was the inducing material with the highest induction rate.
