Design and Test of Self-propelled Corn Emasculation Machine

In order to realize mechanical emasculation of main maize cultivar in China，a 3XZG-8YA self-propelled corn emasculation machine was designed and developed by combining method of independent research and development with benchmarking model.Field experiments were carried out on different planting modes of different varieties and emasculation performance tests，and the results showed that operating efficiency of the machine was ≥1.0 hm2/h，and emasculation rate was 84%，meeting needs of main producing areas of hybrid corn seeds in China.
