Applications of Geographic Information System（GIS）and Geostatistics（GS）in the Insect Ecology

This paper systematically discussed the applications of Geographic Information System（GIS）and Geological Statistics（GS）in the insect ecology，and their future applications fields were look forward.In the application of insect ecology，GIS mainly used the temporal-spatial analysis and overlay analysis to find out the suitable habitat and influencing factors.GS mainly concentrated in the spatial pattern of distribution，pests space interpolation and estimate，population dynamics in spatial and outbreak.
