  • Analysis of driving forces on land use/cover change（LUCC）is one of the hot issues at LUCC study.Sustainable development of the Hotan river basis oasis is the experimental topic with great theoretical and practical significance in the arid and semi-arid areas.Taking Hotan river basis oasis as case，based on Landsat TM/ETM+ remote sensing images in 1994 and 2008，land use changes were extracted and analyzed with GIS technology in the Hotan river basis oasis in 1994 and 2008.It provides a reference for research region land sustainable use and urban development planning for the future.
