Grain-filling Rate of Maize Hybrid Variety Jidan180 and Its Parental Lines

Using Jidan 180 and its parental lines Mo17，Ji 853 as test materials， the rate of grain-filling on maize was studied.Results showed that the maximal filling rates of Jidan 180，Mo17 and Ji 853 were observed on 25 days after pollination，and there were significant differences among their peak values and the other′s at different periods.The reason of high and stable yield on Jidan 180 is that its each parental line had a small peak at the end of grain filling.Through the research，showed that Tangsipingtou×Lancaster is a model of superiority combination on maize and offer a direction in improved varieties of selection.And some cultivation measures on high yield were put forward according to experiment results of Jidan 180.
