Effect of Different Light Qualities on Sugarcane Tissue Culture Seedling

  • Effects of different LEDs light qualities and plant growth light on sugarcane tissue culture seedling were studied.Results showed that multiplication and rootage of sugarcane with treatment of mixing light qualities of LED red and LED blue were better than those with treatment of LED red,LED blue,LED green and white.And some features of plant material with treatment of mixing light qualities of LED red and LED blue,such as adventitious bud multiplication, adventitious bud morphology,total dry weight during multiplication stage, pigment content,and rooted seedlings qualities,were better than those with treatment of fluorescent light. So mixing light qualities of LED red and LED blue could replace fluorescent light and be used in the future sugarcane plantlet mass production.There was no significant difference between cultivate with plant growth light and with fluorescent light.
