Development of Light Trap Technique

As the environment being destroyed，worldwide insect pests of plants are increasingly serious.Allpervading and abuse of pesticide made the environmental degradation in most regions of China and damage of ecological balance.Drugresistant and resistance not only made periodicity of using pesticide shorter but also increased application amount of pesticide.With the idea of green environmental and pollutionfree，light trap，a method of physical prevention and cure，had been applied more and more.Based on a lot of technical literature both abroad and domestic，basic principle，development，attraction radius and disadvantages of light traps were summarized.Besides，prospect of future development was also forecasted in this field.
