Cotton cultivation history is more than 40 years in Wusu city.Main harvest method is manual picking.Labor intensity is big，and cost is high.Objective factors of popularization and development of machine-harvested cotton technology，social benefits，ratio of performance to price of cotton picker，advanced nature and reliability of machine-harvested cotton technology，and reasons for restricting farmers to use machine-harvested cotton technology were analyzed.Vast popularization prospect of machine-harvested cotton technology in Wusu city was illustrated.
