  • Callus induction and plant regeneration system were constructed by using leaves of sterile Saintpaulia ionantha as explants.Results showed callus induction ratio were 73.9% and induction efficiency was best in the medium MS+6-BA 2.0mg/L+NAA 0.5mg/L.Darkness is not conducive to callus induction.Differentiation coefficient of callus was highest up to 14.0 in the medium MS+6-BA 1.0mg/L+NAA 0.1mg/L.Rooting percentage was up to 100% in MS+NAA 0.5mg/L+IAA 0.5mg/L medium，the average roots of each plant were 12.4.
