Cases Study and Prospect Analysis of Vertical Farming

In recent years，due to the gradually increasing problems of urban environment and resource issues，food shortages and food safety，the research on green building and urban agriculture is getting more and more attention.Vertical farming，as a combination of urban agriculture and green building，has great significance to solve environmental problems，land shortage and many other urban problems.Concept as well as the model of vertical farming was describes.Several typical cases of vertical farm were introduced.Then，development of vertical farming and controversy about it were analyzed，and its prospects for developing were predicted.
