Infrared Spectra Comparison of Foodborne Organic Molecules from Different Databases

  • Food safety has become an increasingly prominent issue worldwide. On the basis of infrared spectroscopy and modern communication technology,a convenient testing tool that enabled consumers to facilitate real-time testing of the quality of food, verified its authenticity and other information was designed. For possible application of cloud computing in rapid detection of food in real time and on spot,a comparison of infrared spectra of organic molecules in two remote non-commercial databases was carried out.It could be used as the original model of infrared detector of food safety in the future.Besides, results of comparison will provide theory basis for establishment of IR-spectra databases analysis.
