Abstract
Method of high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)to confirm saccharin sodium content in the preserved fruit was studied. The samples were extracted, separated by C18 chromatography column, and detected by variable wavelength UV detector and diode array detector. Results showed that detection of food additive sodium dehydroacetate had obvious interference on saccharin sodium.Through adjusting the mobile phase, saccharin sodium and interference peaks were separated completely, and it had a good linearity. The recovery rate was 97.7%~101.1%.Relative standard deviation was 1.21%~2.15%.This method effectively avoided misjudgment in the content of saccharin sodium in preserved fruit, and it also could be used for routine detection of real samples.
