Dynamic Monitoring of Soil and Water Conservation of Liupan Mountain Protection Region

As a national key prevention reserve of soil and water loss，Liupan mountain region has never been monitored on soil and water conservation since 2006.By use of external investigation and dynamic monitoring for the first time based on “3S” techniques，the region scope and boundary，situation of land use，condition of vegetation cover and protection partition were investigated.According to the investigation results and corresponding analysis，some advice were given for the dynamic monitoring in this area.And a solid theoretical basis was shown for the complementing of a new monitoring on soil and water loss and corresponding announcements.
