Zone Optimization for Rural Land Use at County Level Based on BCG Matrix

  • Zone optimization for land use in rural area is a fundamental task of land consolidation and new rural construction in the new time.With application of BCG Matrix,which is one of the classical methods in the management science,land use data of cultivated and construction land was used to show directly the land use changes of each country in study area.On this basis,Crosstabs was applied to divide counties in Quzhou county into four types:agricultural production area,rapid urbanization area,urbanization extension area and unutilized land development type.Correspondingly,advices of each type on zone optimization were raised respectively.The results accord with local condition,offered theoretical support for local rural land consolidation and new rural construction.In addition,some suggestions for other similar region were also provided.
