Research Status and Trend of Soil Mechanical Resistance

With gradual reduction in the number of soil resources，status and function of soil is changing.It is particularly important to effective use of soil.Size of the soil mechanical resistance directly affects use of the effect of soil.Research status of soil mechanical resistance measurement methods were summaried.These measurement methods which including non-continuous measurement，continuous measurement method， telemetry and indirect assay were analyzed.Their strengths and weaknesses were pointed out.Factors affecting measurement accuracy were analyzed and measurement methods trends of soil mechanical resistance were put forward.
