Modeling and Simulation of Hydraulic System for Harvester Head′s Cutting Operation Based on AMEsim

  • Hydraulically driven chain saw is the key execution unit for harvester head of wood harvester machine.It is used to harvest and saw logs,complete bucking operation of logging operation.In order to get the harvester head′s cutting operation performance parameters,harvester head′s cutting mechanism of the virtual prototype model was established.Cutting process was studied and analyzed.Hydraulic system of harvester head cutting operation simulation model was built based on AMESim software platform.Simulation results showed that parallel system had higher power utilization than series system.
